The National Marine Sanctuary Foundation is committed to creating innovative partnerships to ensure that the public understands the need to preserve and protect the unique ecological and cultural resources found in the National Marine Sanctuary System. The results of these partnerships will help ensure that coral reefs thrive, kelp forests are abundant and all marine life flourishes.  The Foundation builds partnerships to promote conservation and develop an ocean literate public who is able to make informed and responsible decisions regarding the ocean and its resources.

The Ocean Foundation is the first community foundation for the oceans. Here all the philanthropic tools of a community foundation are focused on ocean conservation. Our mission is to support, strengthen, and promote those organizations dedicated to reversing the trend of destruction of ocean environments around the world. 

The mission of NaturalEquity is to surmount two of the most critical barriers to sustainable use and sound stewardship of natural resources: 1) Relevant information and accurate data that is adopted by all resource users for significant progress toward sustainable use and sound stewardship, and 2) Honest brokering of agreements among resource user groups with varying – and sometimes opposing – objectives and perspectives but who often have huge incentives to work together to achieve sustainable use and sound stewardship.
